This rosary is made in the Anglican style with 4 sets of 7 beads in the loop. The smaller beads are 8 mm African turquoise jasper beads, the large beads are 10 mm senna siameawood, and they are separated by 3 mm round antiqued brass beads and 4 mm faceted wood beads, all strung on 49-strand wire with a nylon coating.
The cross is approximately 1.5 inches long, and is hand-carved from robles wood, harvested from eco-friendly, sustainable resources. The entire rosary is approximately 11.5 inches from the bottom of the cross to the top of the loop when stretched out long.
African turquoise is the trade name for a form of jasper from Africa that has similar coloration and patterns as turquoise and is sometimes used as a substitute for turquoise. Wood and stone are both natural materials which can vary in coloring and pattern. The images shown are representative of the one you will receive, but each rosary varies somewhat in appearance due to the variations in the natural materials used to create them.
