Description
This rosary is made in the Anglican style with 4 sets of 7 beads in the loop. The smaller beads are 8 mm obsidian beads, the large beads are 10 mm mahogany obsidian beads, and they are separated by 4 mm obsidian beads and 3 mm round antiqued silver plated beads, all strung on 49-strand wire with a nylon coating.
The cross is antiqued pewter and is set in a blackened circle for a unique look. The back has an inset cross (see image 4). The entire rosary is approximately 11 inches from the bottom of the cross to the top of the loop when stretched out long.
Mahogany obsidian is a naturally occurring stone and therefore contains natural color variations from bead to bead, but is generally a deep reddish-brown volcanic glass stone with black woodgrain-like inclusions and streaks. The images shown are representative of the one you will receive, but each rosary varies somewhat in appearance due to the variations in the stones used to create them.
