This rosary is made in the Anglican style with 4 sets of 7 beads in the loop. The smaller (week) beads are 8 mm red “malachite” round beads, the large beads are 10 mm black onyx round beads, and they are separated by 3 mm antiqued brass beads and 4 mm black onyx beads, all strung on 49-strand wire with a nylon coating.
The antiqued brass cross is 38 mm long and 24 mm wide and has an open contemporary crucifix design. The entire rosary is just over 11 inches long from the bottom of the cross to the top of the loop when stretched out long.
Red “malachite” is a type of jasper with banding that resembles the banded patterns found in natural green malachite, but in a beautiful terra-cotta color that resembles the adobe-style pottery of the Southwest.
