This rosary is made in the Anglican style with 4 sets of 7 beads in the loop. The smaller (week) beads are 8 mm round tiger jasper beads, the large beads are 11-12 mm round buri root beads, and they are separated by 3 mm round imitation nickel plated beads and black glass seed beads, all strung on 49-strand wire with a nylon coating.
The stainless steel cross is open in the center and is 45 mm long by 25 mm wide. The entire rosary is approximately 11.75 inches from the bottom of the cross to the top of the loop when stretched out long.
The silver colored components of this rosary are imitation nickel (zinc), pewter, and stainless steel, which results in a silver color that is all tarnish free.
The buri root beads are hand-carved beads from the root of the buri palm tree, which is native to India, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, New Guinea, northeastern Australia (Cape York Peninsula, Queensland), and the West Indies. These beads can range from dark brown to black.
