When times are difficult and uncertain, it’s easy to become sucked into a pit of anxiety and worry. The ground beneath us feels unsteady, and we are left shaken.
We put our focus on the news, current events, and the governments and powers of this world trying to find solid ground, but it cannot be found here. Our focus on this world can cause us to lose sight of the God whose love sustains us all and the One who is the true solid ground we crave.
In those times, refocusing our attention on our God whose steadfast love never fails helps us re-steady ourselves. This allows us to step out of the the pit of anxiety so we can better live out God’s love in the world around us.
The best way I know to accomplish this refocusing is to spend our time praising the God who loves and sustains us.
This set of prayers for an Anglican rosary is all about praising God and celebrating the steadfast love that never fails, never wavers, and never ends. All of the prayers are either taken directly from scripture or are adapted from scripture.
